St. Nicholas 'Island' Chapel

Overlooking Porthmeor beach in St. Ives the iconic chapel was built sometime around 1400, dedicated to St. Nicholas, the patron saint of sailors and after a varied history was almost demolished before being saved and restored in 1911 by local ship owner Sir Edward Hain.
