Smeaton's Pier 'New' lighthouse Driftwood
A locally beach-combed piece of driftwood with a beautiful original painting, in acrylics.
A view Smeaton's Pier 'New' lighthouse in St Ives. Between 1888 and 1890 Smeaton's Pier was almost doubled in length and the 'new' lighthouse added.
Although in recent years the town have repainted the lighthouse to restore its former glory I prefer this, to me more authentic, rusty look.
The piece is suitable for a bathroom or outdoor 'seaside' themed patio, yard or, of course, anywhere in your home or office.
The piece is 19 cm high x 4 cm wide and comes fitted with a D ring for easy hanging.
