In this piece, I wanted to focus on the rhythmic, energy-filled movement of the breaking waves as they approach the shore. I also wanted to explore the complex layers of blue, blending deep sapphire ocean into bright, translucent turquoise swell, all finished with the crisp detail of white seafoam washing onto a warm, sandy shoreline.
The canvas sits beautifully within a classic, handmade St. Ives tray frame, creating a subtle shadow-box effect that perfectly complements the coastal theme.
